More details about my work are available at LinkedIn.

A firm believer in Human Coherent Infrastructure, my Role-Based Assessment shows that I am a Vision Mover/Action Mover.

Here are the quick & dirty facts:

Leona is a three syllable girls name of Latin/Germanic origin. It means ‘a lion, one who is bold as a lion’. Like Wayne Gretzky and the telephone, I was born in Brantford, Ontario. I spent the largest chunk of my childhood living in Frankford, Ontario. These days, I live in Toronto with my wonderful husband and adorable dog.

Here’s what various online tests have revealed about me:

Temperament is: Idealist (NF)

All Idealists (NFs) share the following core characteristics:

  • Idealists are enthusiastic, they trust their intuition, yearn for romance, seek their true self, prize meaningful relationships, and dream of attaining wisdom.
  • Idealists pride themselves on being loving, kindhearted, and authentic.
  • Idealists tend to be giving, trusting, spiritual, and they are focused on personal journeys and human potentials.
  • Idealists make intense mates, nurturing parents, and inspirational leaders.

Idealists, as a temperament, are passionately concerned with personal growth and development. Idealists strive to discover who they are and how they can become their best possible self–always this quest for self-knowledge and self-improvement drives their imagination. And they want to help others make the journey. Idealists are naturally drawn to working with people, and whether in education or counseling, in social services or personnel work, in journalism or the ministry, they are gifted at helping others find their way in life, often inspiring them to grow as individuals and to fulfill their potentials.

Idealists are rare, making up no more than 8 to 10 percent of the population. But their ability to inspire people with their enthusiasm and their idealism has given them influence far beyond their numbers.

True Colors: Green

I am conceptual. I have an investigative mind, intrigued by questions like, “Which came first, the chicken or the egg?” I am an independent thinker, a natural nonconformist, and live life by my own standards.

I like to do things that require vision, problem solving, strategy, ingenuity, design, and change. Once I have perfected an idea, I prefer to move on to a new challenge.

I value knowledge, intelligence, insight, and justice. I enjoy relationships with shared interests. I prefer to let my head rule my heart. I am cool, calm, and collected. I do not express my emotions easily.

I am an exceptionally creative problem solver who brings my ability to think outside the box to the workplace. I am a conceptual, analytical, and logical thinker. To me knowledge is power and my insatiable thirst for understanding and information is what drives me. I am an incredible problem solver but once the goal is accomplished I lose interest and need to move on.

I am an independent worker who detests routine and prefers to work alone on projects and I often gravitate toward leadership roles. I could be a good computer programmer, scientist or researcher.

If I was a dog, I’d be a Cocker Spaniel.
